As of now we have 4 dates confirmed for practice for this summer at Anne Arundle Community College (AACC)

Welcome Coach Larue and Coach Hall To SLC Staff

We are excited to announce the addition of Coach Scott Larue Professional Lacrosse player for the Chesapeake Bayhawks and Coach Shane Hall to the Snappers coaching staff. Both Coaches were outstanding players at the University of Maryland.

Coach Larue will bring great knowledge of offense and midfield play to the program- a True 2 way midfielder with offense and defense

Coach Shane Hall an outstanding defensive player during his college career. Will bring great understanding and teachnique to the defensive side of the field. Coach Hall will also be our athletic training coach.

We are very excited to announce these additions to the coaching staff!

Snappers Teams Winter Training Dates Feb 4, Feb 17

Snappers Team winter training dates have been posted:

This is open to all players who played with Snappers during the fall 2011 season. All players are invited from teams Gold, Red, Black.

This is a great way to tune up players skills before the start of their spring season! The training sessions will work on players lacrosse skills. This is not a team practice.

Dates: Sat- February 4th and Fri- February 17th.

Time: 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Location: API Turf Facility. 740 – Rt 301 South Gambrills, MD 21054

This will be a great opportunity for players before the spring season!

UPLAX Nov 20th Tournament Snappers Black (JV)

Schedule for UPLAX tournament for November 20th for the Snappers Black (JV) Team has been posted.

Players should meet at the first field (5) at 9:00am… All players must visit www.UPLAX.com and print on the waiver form and hand it in to the coaches before the first game.

Recruiting Talk and Gear Pick Up Thursday November 3rd 6:30pm

We will be hosting our college recruiting talk Thursday November 3rd at Double Tree Hotel in Annapolis MD.

Guest speaker will be Coach Dave Cottle who has had over 25 years of experience recruiting players at the Division I level. We are very excited to have coach Cottle share his knowledge about the the recruiting process.

Both players and parents are invited to this event. This will be a great learning experince.

Gear Pick Up:
We will also be handing out team uniforms for all players at this meeting. Players who are not able to come will be able to pick their gear up at the tournament.

Tournament Fees:
We will also be collecting tournament fees for the Fall $200 which will cover both Fall Invitational Tournament and Uplax Tournament.

Check should be made payable to Snappers Lacrosse Club.

We ask that players who will not be able to attend please either Mail the tournament fee or hand it in before playering this weekend at the tournament.

We will follow up with practice/gear pick beginning of the week.

No Practice For 2014-2015 Team On October 23rd.

Reminder: The 2014-2015 Team will not practice on October 23rd. They will again practice on October 30th at AACC.

The 2012 & 2013 Teams will practice on Sunday Ocbober 23rd at normal time 2:30pm

Fall Youth Tryouts Have Been Canceled

As an organization we have noticed that many of the Fall 2011 tournaments are lacking the necessary number of teams to them high caliber tournaments.

We will not be holding a 2011 Fall team… Instead tryouts will be pushed back to Early Spring 2012. As a program we feel that players and families will benefit much more out of attending high quality tournaments in the MD area during the Summer months.

I hope you will be able to join us for the summer season.

We will be offering winter training sessions during December – February for all players looking for winter lacrosse activities. Sign up are no open on our website.
